Job summary

A leading food service company in Singapore is seeking individuals to assist in unloading and checking deliveries, ensuring proper handling and segregation of products. Candidates should have physical fitness to work in low temperatures and be able to carry heavy items. A valid forklift license and basic Microsoft skills are advantageous. This role adheres to food safety standards.

• Able to carry 10kg - 25kg.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading and checking incoming deliveries.
• Verify product quantity against PO and invoice.
• Ensure proper segregation for different product types.
• Support in conducting visual checks for packaging damage.
• Perform basic temperature checks on chilled and frozen items.
• Maintain records for daily receiving and inspection.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading and checking incoming deliveries (dry, chilled, frozen)
• Verify product quantity and basic condition against PO and invoice
• Ensure proper segregation (e.g., Halal vs non-Halal, ambient vs chilled)
• Support in conducting visual checks for packaging damage or expiry date issues
• Perform basic temperature checks on chilled and frozen items
• Maintain records for daily receiving and inspection
• Ensure accurate data entry into receiving logs or SAP system
• Maintain cleanliness at the receiving bay
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
• Comply with SOPs for Halal handling and segregation
• Adhoc jobs assigned by supervisor or manager

Requirements

• Valid forklift license will be an advantage.
• Basic Microsoft skills will be an advantage.
• Physical fit and able to work for long periods in low temperature (winter jacket will be provided)
• Chiller estimated 2 - 8 degree Celsius
• Freezer estimated -12 degree Celsius (occasionally)
• Able to carry 10kg - 25kg
• 5.5 working days
