Job summary

A logistics firm in Singapore is seeking an individual to manage shipping documents, communicate with customers, and coordinate logistics operations. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma or degree, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to communicate in Mandarin is essential. Training will be provided for candidates without prior logistics experience.

Job Description
  • Prepare and manage shipping documents, including liaising with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners.
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on shipment and delivery status.
  • Handle billing tasks, including invoicing, inventory management, and purchase order processing.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely production, shipment, and delivery of goods.
  • Manage export shipments and prepare all required export documentation.
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders and transporters to ensure efficient and on-time delivery.
  • Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and promptly.
  • Oversee payment processes to suppliers and manage insurance applications.
  • Verify the accuracy of monthly insurance declarations before submission to the accounting department.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and logistics transactions.
  • Perform any other duties or ad hoc tasks as assigned by the GM.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • A reliable, responsible, and collaborative team player.
  • Basic knowledge of logistics or supply chain operations is an advantage (training will be provided for those without experience).
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and multitasking skills.
  • Good attendance record and a high level of punctuality.
  • Candidates with at least 1 year of related experience are preferred.
  • Those with no experience are welcome to apply.
