Job summary

A logistics and equipment supply company in Singapore is seeking an Office Administrator to provide admin and logistic support. The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience, knowledge of shipping and logistics, and proficiency in MS Office tools. Responsibilities include processing orders, preparing shipping documents, and liaising with customers. Training will be provided.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Office admin and logistic support
  • Inputting orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements, and ensuring all orders are accurate and delivered on time
  • Plan and forecast with customers on upcoming demand and usage
  • Handle general administrative work including delivery schedule planning.
  • Preparation of accurate Packing List and other shipping related documents
  • Ensure warehouse perform correct picking of goods for outbound shipment and inspect correct goods of inbound shipment
  • Communicates with customers and other counterparties for shipment status
  • Liaise with transporters, forwarders for all shipment matters.
  • Place Purchase orders with our Principals and Suppliers and responsible for purchasing function.
  • Ensure timely feedback of all problems and issues from customers and principals
  • Other administrative duties and ad-hoc duties
Requirement:
  • Knowledge of shipping, logistics and understanding of Incoterms, import/export procedures for air, sea and land transport is preferred.
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office – Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Good administrative , organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Responsible , proactive, show initiative to learn and adapt to changes
  • Minimum 2 years of experience, salary depends on experience.
