A logistics and shipping company in Singapore is seeking a candidate to manage order processing and shipping documentation. Responsibilities include communicating with customers and ensuring timely shipping. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience and a good understanding of logistics and Incoterms.
Inputting orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements, and ensuring all orders are accurate and delivered on time
Plan and forecast with customers on upcoming demand and usage
Preparation of accurate Packing List and other shipping related documents
Ensure warehouse perform correct picking of goods for outbound shipment and inspect correct goods of inbound shipment
Communicates with customers and other counterparties for shipment status
Liaise with transporters , forwarders for all shipment matters.
Place Purchase orders with our Principals and Suppliers and responsible for purchasing function.
Ensure timely feedback of all problems and issues from customers and principals
Other administrative duties and ad-hoc duties
Knowledge of shipping, logistics and understanding of Incoterms, import/export procedures for air, sea and land transport is preferred.
Computer proficiency (MS Office – Excel, Word and Outlook)
Good administrative , organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Responsible , proactive, show initiative to learn and adapt to changes
Minimum 2 years of experience, salary depends on experience.
