Job summary

Job description
The Job

The Logistics Administrator is responsible for supporting all procedures in the operations of our Aerospace division, from coordinating deliveries to managing shipping documentation.

What You Can Expect of the Job
  • You’ll manage and file all shipping documents for Aerospace operation.
  • You’ll coordinate with other Store staff to get updates on all the order transactions and ensure the system data is up to date against the physical parts movement with proper supporting documents.
  • You’ll communicate & Co-ordinatewith the Administrators from other Aerospace divisions (such as Customer Service, Workshop, technical etc.) about the enquiries & reports on repair order status, receiving & outgoing status, inventory status etc.
  • You’ll liaise and co-manage freight forwarders for all deliveries and collection schedules.
  • You’ll perform other administrative duties, e.g.:
    • Matching the system data with the documents & physical parts
    • Prepare the weekly / monthly reports on the Store activities
    • Coordinate and data entry for the inventory count every 6 months
    • Report to Logistics Manager for any issue and status update
  • You’ll assist and perform stock count entries during the inventory count period.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
What We Expect of You
  • ‘O’ level or Diploma in Business Administration / Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics operation.
  • PC literate in MS Office applications, e.g. Excel, Word.
  • Possess knowledge of BaaN / MFGpro system is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with multitasking ability.
  • Attention to detail and good organisational skills.
  • Commitment to company values by keeping information confidential.
  • Flexibility to support various administrative functions is essential.
  • Good communication skills and able to interact well with people.
  • May require working beyond office hours if the situation dictates.
