Job description

Salary Package: Basic up to $6200 + Company Transport + AWS + VB

  • Recycling and Waste management industry

  • Working Location: West

  • Working Days & Hours: Mon - Fri (8.00am - 5pm)

Responsibilities
Operations
  • Ensure contractors comply with waste collection requirements (e.g., PPE, documents) and monitor collection progress.

  • Attend to customer enquiries and requests on waste collection, and work with Sales/Customer Service teams to resolve issues and complaints.

  • Handle regulatory matters and ensure compliance with authorities (e.g., NEA, LTA).

  • Set KPIs to evaluate contractor and supplier performance.

  • Attend coordination meetings (EHS, Operations, Sales) to support smooth operations.

  • Support transport scheduling and related administrative tasks when required.

  • Plan logistics transport capacity needs (e.g., pumps, hoses, trucks).

  • Monitor maintenance of logistics equipment and arrange internal or external servicing.

Administration
  • Handle submissions to authorities for transport containment matters (e.g., ISO tank rental, after-office collection).

  • Verify supplier/contractor invoices, resolve discrepancies, and compile monthly logistics cost data.

  • Ensure timely renewal of Vehicle Parking Certificates in line with LTA requirements.

  • Lead logistics team matters including hiring, performance reviews, and arranging training.

  • Provide monthly updates on cost-saving efforts, issues, and solutions to the Logistics Director.

  • Maintain transport records and prepare monthly reports on costing, budget, and expenses.

Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

  • 2 – 3 years of experience in similar role and industry.

  • Excellent planning and tactical conceptualisation abilities in operational problem-solving.

  • Good knowledge of operations and safety.

  • Able to manage cross-functional teams and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
