We are seeking an experienced and proactive Logistics, Facilities & Dormitory Manager to oversee all logistical operations, facilities management, and worker accommodation for our roadwork construction projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth site operations, maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and welfare for our workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics Management: Plan and coordinate delivery, storage, and distribution of construction materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and transport providers to ensure timely and cost-effective logistics support.
- Track and maintain accurate records of inventory, assets, and materials movement.
- Optimize site layout and material flow to enhance productivity and minimize delays.
- Facilities Management: Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of site facilities, including offices, storage areas, and welfare amenities.
- Ensure all facilities comply with regulatory standards, including workplace safety and health requirements.
- Coordinate repairs, servicing, and inspections of equipment and infrastructure.
- Implement and monitor site housekeeping standards.
- Dormitory Management: Manage daily operations of worker dormitories, including allocation of rooms, occupancy records, and housekeeping.
- Ensure dormitory facilities meet MOM (Ministry of Manpower) regulations and health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Address and resolve worker accommodation issues, complaints, and welfare concerns.
- Coordinate with service providers for cleaning, maintenance, catering, and security services.
- Compliance and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, codes of practice, and company policies.
- Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, facilities condition, and dormitory status for management review.
Requirements
- Degree in Logistics, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics and facilities management, preferably within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with MOM dormitory regulations and construction site compliance requirements in Singapore.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
