Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency in Singapore is looking for a Surgical Assistant to provide clinical and technical support to surgeons using company technology. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in Nursing and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating theatre, specifically in orthopaedic cases. This role involves assisting in surgeries and ensuring proper instruments are available. Competence in customer relationships is also essential.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years operating theatre experience in orthopaedic cases.
• Valid SNB & BCLS certification required.

Salary: $100/hr

Duration: 6 months contract

Working Days & Hours: Mon-Fri Office Hours

Location: One north

Job Scope:

• Assisting surgeons in performing surgical techniques with company’s technology.
• Providing competent technical and clinical support when company’s technology is used by surgeons.
• Guide surgeons and other Operating Room Personnel in the safe and effective use new company’s technology.
• Ensuring appropriate instruments and implants are at the hospital and complete before each use
• Building positive relationships with customers on behalf of Sales Leads
• Identifying customer needs and recommends appropriate registered and available products to address them and/or pass it on to Sales Leads for follow up.
• Maintaining a thorough understanding of the company product lines; updates, features, benefits, surgical techniques independently.
• Adheres to compliance policy and guidelines at all times
• Assist the AD/SNM in coordinating, implementing and monitoring clinical and service quality performance indicators for continuous improvement

Job Requirements:

• Min Diploma/ Degree in Nursing
• VALID SNB & BCLS
• Min 2 yrs of operating theatre experience in orthopaedic cases
