Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood-taking, nasopharyngeal swabs including PCR and antigen tests, and assist with specimen collection for custodial settings. You will record vitals, manage consumables, and ensure infection control.

Required qualifications include a Certificate in Phlebotomy and vaccination records (Hep B, VZV, MMR, Tdap). Eligibility for interview will be assessed based on these credentials.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Phlebotomy.
• Certified competency in nasopharyngeal swabbing.
• Vaccination records for Hepatitis B, VZV, MMR, Tdap.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood-taking procedures for patients/persons-in-custody.
• Conduct nasopharyngeal swab procedures, including PCR and Antigen Rapid Tests.
• Assist with specimen collection and preparation.
• Support the preparation of nominal rolls for swab operations.
• Assist with operational and clinical procedures involving persons-in-custody.
• Take and record patients' vital signs accurately.
• Manage medical consumables and equipment used within the facility.
• Sort and organise laboratory reports received.
• Follow infection control measures, clinical protocols and professional standards.
• Perform administrative duties and other tasks as assigned.

Education

Certificate in Phlebotomy

Certified competency in nasopharyngeal swabbing

Vaccination records: Hepatitis B

Vaccination records: Varicella-Zoster Virus (VZV)

Vaccination records: Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR)

Vaccination records: Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap)
