Location: West

Duration: 3- 6 months

Working hours: 42 hours / 5.5 days work week with staggered start times (For Perm)

3 to 5.5 days work week depends on locum’s availability (For Locum)

Salary: $20/hr (Locum)

Job Description:

  • Ensure medicines are topped up regularly to facilitate smooth dispensing process
  • Accurately pack and dispense all prescriptions according to set standards and guidelines
  • Counsel all patients according to Good Dispensing Guidelines.
  • Understand basic drug regimens and alert pharmacists/prescribers on possible interactions.
  • Manage frontline patient interaction, address patients’ concerns patiently, professionally manage and escalate any complaints.
  • Monitor inventory and replenish medication stock supplies.
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure adequate supplies.
  • Ensure maintenance of pharmacy equipment, cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation of supply storerooms and working areas.
  • Operate and monitor pharmacy automation systems and IT equipment
  • Safeguard stocks, premises, and confidential information, adhere to standard security protocols and prevent security incidents.
  • Recommend workflow enhancements and perform any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Min. Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences, or have undergone certified pharmacy technician training; preferably with relevant working experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Possess good communication and analytical skills
  • Able to work with diverse and multi-disciplinary team
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good team player and self-motivated
