SG Rehab Recruitment Division is seeking a Locum Occupational Therapist for a DRC located in Central Singapore. Availability: two full days a week. Location: Ang Mo Kio.

You will assess ADL/IADL, cognition and psychosocial status, set goals, and develop intervention plans. You will train TAs on interventions and wheelchair transfers, and advise on orthosis, prosthesis or assistive devices. You will also perform home assessments, caregiver education, and plan community integration activities.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Full AHPC Registration.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation, community care, or nursing home setting.
• Passionate about Occupational Therapy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in local languages will be an advantage.
• Self-motivated to engage in continuous learning and education in the field of Occupational Therapy.

Responsabilités

• Conduct home assessment and recommendations on home modification (if required).
• Provide caregiver training and patient education.
• Plan and implement community integration activities.
