Job summary

InternSG is offering a Project Intern in Loan Operations, Administration & Settlements for July to December 2026. The role reports to the Team Leader and supports loan portfolio maintenance, processing payments and compliance with lending policies.

You will work with borrowers, facility agents, banks and internal teams to ensure accurate loan servicing. Key responsibilities include documenting loans, disbursement support, payment notices and reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking or Finance or related field.
• Ability to interpret loan agreements and translate into operational setup terms.
• Knowledge of debt financing, financial markets and credit agreements.
• Proficient with Adobe Acrobat for PDF editing and document management.
• Strong Excel skills including formulas and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loan documentation review and record trades in systems.
• Support disbursement and settlement including data entry and reconciliation.
• Prepare and distribute payment notices, rate fixing and fee notices.
• Monitor receivables, track overdue payments and flag delays.
• Respond to queries and resolve trade discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize loan operations.
• Coordinate with counterparties and banks on settlements and escalations.
• Assist in exception handling, system testing, and audit tasks.
• Develop and refine procedures to improve processes.
• Participate in projects and system enhancements.
