Job summary

Peninsula Group seeks an experienced LNG Supply Trader to materialise new and manage LNG reselling agreements. Based in Singapore, you will collaborate with customer traders and Asian suppliers to secure spot and term deals and develop LNG bunker opportunities.

You will analyze market opportunities, participate in commercial presentations, and coordinate cross‑functional teams to execute LNG supply operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in energy trading and LNG sales.
• Experience in the maritime industry.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese; other languages a plus.
• Strong commercial, entrepreneurial and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work across cultures with strong planning and reporting discipline.

LNG Supply Trader

Description

We are seeking an experienced LNG Supply Trader to materialise new and manage existing LNG reselling agreements.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Materialize LNG reselling spot and term deals jointly with customer traders.
• Manage existing LNG Reselling Agreements in place with Asian Physical Suppliers
• Originate new additional LNG Reselling Agreements with additional Asian Physical Suppliers.
• Originate LNG bunker business in Asian ports.
• Support technical and operational meetings to execute LNG supply operations.
• Monitor, identify and track business opportunities and our competitor's LNG bunkering activity using of tools like MINT.
• Build, manage relationship and account plan with key LNG bunkering customers, which may include having direct conversations with certain customers, individually or along the customer's trader.
• Participate in commercial presentations to customers.
• Support & revitalise (and follow up) traders' efforts in Peninsula's LNG bunker marketing.
• Responsible to arrange and provide content to a periodical (frequency TBD) reporting meeting.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university & master's in Economy/Finance/Shipping/Business/Engineering.
• Experience in energy trading and energy sales, specifically in LNG.
• Experience in the maritime industry.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese. Additional languages are desirable but not essential.
• Experience in a shipping/bunker business.
