About All That Jazz Dance Academy

All That Jazz Dance Academy is one of Singapore’s leading dance and performing arts schools, with over 1,500 students across five locations island-wide. We offer a wide range of programs including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Street Dance, Acro, and Musical Theatre — all delivered in a fun, structured, and nurturing environment.

Founded with the belief that dance should inspire confidence, creativity, and discipline, we’ve built a strong reputation for high-quality training and positive, student-centered teaching. Our academy caters to children from age 2 and up, whether they’re dancing for fun, aiming for exams, or preparing for performance and competition opportunities.

We’re a passionate, close-knit team that thrives on collaboration, creativity, and a genuine love for teaching. If you’re someone who cares deeply about making an impact and being part of a supportive and dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

We’re looking for a passionate and creative teacher to join our Little Movers programme, which introduces children aged 2–6 years old to the joy of dance.

The programme builds early Ballet and Jazz foundations, while also encouraging exploration through Acro, Tap, and Contemporary. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with very young children, thrives in playful and imaginative teaching, and has the technical expertise to guide them safely while inspiring a lifelong love of dance.

What You’ll Do
  • Teach engaging, age-appropriate classes in Ballet and Jazz, with opportunities to incorporate Tap, Acro, and Contemporary.
  • Deliver lessons effectively within established lesson plans, ensuring smooth transitions, strong pacing, and engaging energy throughout.
  • Bring life and creativity to structured lesson plans, not simply following steps, but transforming them into dynamic, interactive experiences for young learners.
  • Nurture children’s confidence, curiosity, and joy while developing their early dance skills.
  • Prepare students for studio events, parent showcases, and early performance opportunities.
  • Collaborate with fellow faculty to ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience across the programme.
  • Communicate with parents when needed to share updates on student progress.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment tailored to young learners.
What We’re Looking For
  • 2–3 years of teaching experience, ideally with preschool or early primary-age children.
  • Ability to teach Ballet and Jazz; experience with Tap or Acro is an advantage.
  • A super engaging, caring, and patient teaching style that captivates and connects with very young children.
  • Strong professionalism and reliability, with excellent follow-through on class objectives and student development.
  • Deep understanding of children’s needs and how to adapt lessons to keep them focused, happy, and motivated.
  • Ability to interpret and deliver structured lesson plans with creativity and flexibility — maintaining consistency while keeping classes lively and fresh.
  • Excellent communication skills with both children and parents.
  • Warm, enthusiastic, and nurturing personality with solid classroom management skills.
  • Certification in a recognized dance syllabus (ISTD, RAD, CSTD) or a diploma/degree in Dance is preferred.
  • Openness to ongoing training and willingness to expand across multiple dance genres.
