Job summary

ARYAN SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a UNIX/Linux administrator to install, configure, and harden servers across multiple environments. You will build Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments, configure storage, networking and security, and automate provisioning tasks.

The role requires 5+ years in UNIX/Linux administration, plus a Bachelor’s degree in Computers or related. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production readiness and adherence to security standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and harden UNIX/Linux servers.
• Build project environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod).
• Configure storage, networking, security, and system services.
• Collaborate with application, database, network, cloud, and security teams.
• Participate in project planning, design reviews, and deployment activities.
• Develop automation scripts for server provisioning and operational tasks.
• Implement configuration management and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Standardize server builds and deployment procedures.
• Implement OS hardening and security best practices.
• Apply patches and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Create and maintain build documents, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
• Provide knowledge transfer to operations and support teams.

5+ years experience in UNIX/Linux administration
