  • Manage VMware or physical server environments, ensuring system availability and capacity planning.
  • Participate in infrastructure lifecycle management, including system upgrades, migrations, and hardware refreshes.
  • Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery (DR) operations and periodic DR exercises.
  • Implement OS hardening, security compliance, and access control based on corporate policies.
  • Maintain monitoring, alerting, and reporting for system performance and uptime using enterprise tools (e.g., Grafana, Solarwinds).
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, system inventories, and change records.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal infrastructure performance.
  • Provide support during scheduled maintenance windows and participate in standby support for critical infrastructure incidents.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of solid experience in Linux infrastructure administration in enterprise environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with RHEL/CentOS and VMware virtualization.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure components — networking, DNS, NTP, storage, and backup.
  • Familiarity with hardware platforms (Dell, HP, IBM) and firmware management.
  • Experience with system patching and configuration management tools (YUM, DNF, Ansible, Puppet).
  • Good understanding of monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Knowledge of shell scripting or automation (Bash, Python).
  • Familiarity with change management and ITIL‑based operational procedures.
Good to Have
