Position

We are undertaking new projects and seeking an experienced Lighting Designer. The Lighting Designer will be in charge of lighting design and project conceptualisation, thus he/she must be able to:

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a clear understanding of Light in the architectural context
• Produce Lux calculations, Product Brochure, Cut-Sheets, Renderings, AutoCAD Drawings, Specification Sheets, Work Instructions and Procedure Manuals calculations
• Develop concepts into schematic and detailed designs with CAD drawings and technical specifications
• Work closely with clients to develop concepts for façade, interior and landscape lighting
• Provide budget and power consumption estimates
• Represent the company at meetings & design-workshops with clients/suppliers
• Work with large scale floor plans and calculate lux level
• Multi-task across all ES-team projects and work independently
• Manage project administration including Project Logs; Project Document/ Issuance Register & filing according to documentation standards
• Be responsible for time management concerning project deadlines; deliverables; meeting scheduling
• Continually enhance professional knowledge of new technologies
• Manage and continually update other staff about new products procured
• Provide Graphic Design support for marketing materials on an ad-hoc basis
• Proactive and creative in recommending products/modification in lighting stimulation to acheive target objectives

Requirements

• Min 2-3 years of relevant design experience in Lighting Design or relevant disciplines
• Experience on large scale architectural projects is advantageous
• Proficient or experienced in AGI32, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, DiaLux/DiaLuxEVO, AutoCAD 2D/3D, Microsoft Office and Excel
• Candidates must be comfortable working in a Remote Setup and managing tasks independently.
