Lift Inspection Technician – Lifts & Escalators

  • Location: Multiple sites across Singapore
  • Salary: Up to S$3,200/month (base salary) + AWS (13th Month)
  • Employment: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:45 PM

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct statutory and preventive inspections on elevator and escalator systems.
  • Perform safety tests (load, emergency brake, door operation) in compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports and certificates.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and service documentation.
  • Identify and elevate safety risks or non-compliance issues for corrective action.
  • Coordinate schedules with engineers and coordinators for timely inspections and follow-up work.
Requirements
  • NITEC or Higher NITEC in Vertical Transportation, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in lift/escalator inspection, servicing, or statutory compliance.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces such as lift shafts.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
  • Proficient in safety testing and inspection procedures.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with elevator/escalator maintenance platforms or monitoring software.
  • Knowledge of local regulatory compliance standards for lifts and escalators.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate risks.
