Job summary

A leading elevator servicing company in Singapore is seeking a Lift Service Technician to carry out maintenance and servicing of lifts. The role includes troubleshooting issues, supporting installations, and ensuring safety standards. Candidates with an NITEC qualification are preferred, with training provided for those with basic electrical knowledge. This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary package and a 24/7 standby roster.

Qualifications

• NITEC or equivalent qualification in a related field is preferred.
• Basic electrical knowledge is a plus; training will be provided.
• Ability to work on a 24/7 standby roster.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and servicing of lifts.
• Replace parts and perform basic repairs as needed.
• Respond to and resolve lift breakdowns promptly.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in lift systems.
• Complete inspection checklists and maintenance records accurately.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and company procedures.
• Communicate with building management and customers on site issues.
• Join a 24-hour standby emergency service on a rotating schedule.
• Support installation of new lift systems when required.

• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm; Sat, 8.30am - 12.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic salary up to $2,500 + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and servicing of lifts

• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in lift systems

• Join a 24-hour standby emergency service on a rotating schedule
• Support installation and commissioning of new lift systems when required

Qualifications & Eligibility

• NITEC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Built Environment (Vertical Transportation) preferred
