Lift Inspection Technician – Lifts & Escalators

• Location: Various sites across Singapore
• Salary: Up to S$3,200/month (base) + AWS (13th Month)
• Employment: Full-Time, Permanent
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:45 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory and preventive inspections for lift and escalator systems.
• Perform required safety tests such as load tests, emergency braking, and door operation checks in line with regulations.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive inspection reports and certification documents.
• Maintain precise records of inspections and service activities.
• Identify safety hazards or non-compliance issues and elevate them for corrective actions.
• Coordinate inspection schedules with engineers and coordinators to ensure timely follow-up.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in lift/escalator inspection, servicing, or statutory compliance.
• NITEC or Higher NITEC in Vertical Transportation, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or relevant disciplines.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces (e.g., lift shafts).
• Strong attention to detail with reliable documentation abilities.
• Proficient in inspection methods and safety testing procedures.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using lift/escalator maintenance or monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with Singapore’s regulatory standards for lift and escalator operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to identify and address risks.
