The ideal candidate demonstrates strong writing and reporting skills, loves lifestyle content, and is willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays while building relationships with readers and newsmakers.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of journalism experience, Lifestyle or news reporting is a plus.
• Degree from a recognised university.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong writing and reporting skills, with the ability to produce compelling content on tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with newsmakers, colleagues, and audiences.
• Good news sense with a good understanding of online and mobile readership.
• Comfortable using social media and digital tools to research, report, and promote content.
• Willingness to be rostered to work on shifts, weekends and/or public holidays.
