Job summary

A maritime safety inspection company in Singapore is seeking a Lifeboat Technician to conduct inspections and maintenance on lifeboats and safety equipment. You will need at least 2 years of relevant experience and possess strong mechanical and technical skills. The role involves working onboard vessels and in shipyards, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Lifeboat Technician or similar role in maritime industry.
• Excellent mechanical and technical skills are required.
• Familiarity with liferaft servicing and/or electrical skills is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct annual and five yearly inspections and maintenance on lifeboats and associated equipment.
• Perform necessary repairs and replacements to keep safety equipment up to date.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of servicing and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with the team to coordinate the deployment and testing of lifeboats.
• Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and procedures.
• Work onboard vessel and in shipyard.
