Job summary

FWD Group in Singapore is seeking a Life Pricing Analyst to perform product pricing tasks and contribute to pricing strategy from feasible models to regulatory filings. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure robust product launches and compliant workflows, while expanding actuarial knowledge through tools like RBC2, EV, Prophet and IFRS17.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in life insurance, or a fresh graduate, with strong English communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Degree-holder with 1–2 years of experience in life insurance.
• Fresh graduates can be considered for the role.

Responsibilities

• Support life pricing tasks: feasibility, pricing model, assumptions, financial calculations, sensitivity tests, pricing reports, regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches with robust checks and compliant workflows.
• Foster product innovation through collaboration with partners, customers, internal stakeholders and reinsurers.
• Proactively identify pricing risks and propose practical solutions.
• Acquire actuarial knowledge for routine pricing tasks (RBC2, EV, Prophet, IFRS17, etc.).
• Assist on ad-hoc projects to deliver business requirements and KPIs.

PURPOSE

To perform Life product pricing and be involved in product development through to product launches.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

• Support the life pricing team in product pricing tasks, including product feasibility assessment, building pricing model, propose assumptions, perform financial calculations, sensitivity testing, completing pricing report and regulatory filing.
• Collaborate closely with the team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure new products are launched successfully complete with robust checks, integration of full workflow and compliance to relevant policies, regulations and guidelines.
• Develop strong culture of product innovation through collaboration with partners, customers, internal stakeholder and re-insurers.
• Pro-active in identifying product and pricing risks and propose solutions.
• Pro-active in acquiring the necessary technical actuarial knowledge to carry out routine pricing tasks, including (but not limited to) RBC2, EV, Prophet, IFRS17 etc.
• Support in ad-hoc projects to deliver business requirements and KPIs.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Degree-holder with 1 - 2 years of experiences in life insurance companies
• Fresh graduate can be considered
