Projects Assistant Manager

Private Banking - Wealth Planning Solutions Hub

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Assist with the WPSH’s projects and initiatives, including the development, implementation and maintenance of resource management databases, legal templates, standard documents, product guides, frameworks, flowcharts and internal guides or policies. Identify areas of improvement to legal precedents and develop new templates in line with business needs.
  • Support the assessment and onboarding of complex structures and transactions across the suite of wealth planning solutions, including trusts, family offices, philanthropic vehicles and variable capital companies.
  • Liaise with bank stakeholders such as Trustees, Wealth Planning teams and external legal and tax advisors.
  • Assist with trainings for Relationship Managers, Wealth Planners and the Bank’s Trustee Trust Managers by coordinating internal and external training sessions.
  • Review, comment and analyze legal and tax opinions.
  • Monitor new laws, regulations and developments relevant to the business and draft updates via Wealth Planning Briefs and Fact Sheets.
  • Support the Head of WPSH and the team on strategic initiatives, managing project timelines, tracking and follow‑ups, and maintaining the WPSH resource repository.
  • Handle any other work assigned by the Head of WPSH.
Job Requirements/Skills and Qualifications
  • Some working experience in the private wealth space and familiarity with wealth planning solutions.
  • Legal background (including paralegal experience) or training in accountancy (preferred but not mandatory).
  • STEP qualified (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Fluency in AI and leveraging GenAI tools.
  • Experience maintaining resource databases.
  • Self‑motivated with initiative.
  • Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.
  • Solution oriented with an eye for accuracy.
Areas of Expertise
  • Ability to draft legal memoranda.
  • Ability to draft reference materials and business correspondence.
