Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Jurong seeks a Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support. The role involves drafting, reviewing contracts, and offering legal advice across business units. A law degree and 4-7 years’ relevant experience, particularly in construction law, are required. The candidate should be willing to travel. This position offers a salary of $6,000 - $7,000 per month, and a standard five-day work week.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.

Legal Counsel

• Location: Jurong
• Working Days: Monday – Friday (5 days)
• Working hours: 8am to 5:30pm
• Salary: $6,000 – $7,000

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements and other documents; and render legal advice
• Provide legal advice and support to the group of companies on a broad range of commercial issues
• Handle the setting up of subsidiaries, associates, branches and project offices as well as the closing or liquidation of such set up
• Coordinate with external legal counsels and consultants as well as oversee the progress of their work
• Coordinate with and advise business units and departments on legal matters
• Any other duties to be assigned from time to time

Prerequisites

• Degree in Law
• 4 to 7 years’ post-qualification experience, with knowledge of construction law and/or with experience in the construction industry
• Willing to travel when required
