Job summary

A legal services firm in Singapore is seeking an immigration consultant to assist clients with applications to government agencies, including Employment Pass and Permanent Residency requests. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Business or Law, strong English skills, and at least 1 year of related experience. Job description
  • Assist with various types of applications to relevant government agencies (e.g., Ministry of Manpower, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority, Economic Development Board, Monetary Authority of Singapore) on behalf of clients, including but not limited to Singapore Employment Pass (EP) and Permanent Residency (PR) applications.
  • Prepare and review documents for various applications, including but not limited to application forms, cover letters, and information memorandums.
  • Liaise with clients and relevant government agencies on application processes and requirements.
  • Assisting in preparation and drafting legal documents, legal research, compiling of documents for submissions
  • Maintain accurate records of application deadlines, submissions, and approvals.
Requirements
  • Minimum qualification of Diploma in Business, Law, Legal Studies and Paralegal Studies.
  • At least 1 year of related experience
  • Excellent command of English (both written and spoken), with strong grammar and communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organised.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple applications simultaneously.
  • Positive, proactive attitude and strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with lawyers and clients.
  • Experience working in a legal, immigration, or professional services environment would be a bonus.
