Job summary

Michael Page International is recruiting a qualified Singapore-based lawyer to support a fast-growing cloud business. The role involves advising on commercial and regulatory matters, drafting and negotiating customer and vendor contracts, and guiding privacy and cybersecurity compliance.

You will work with the legal leadership team to manage regulatory risk, oversee disputes, and provide training to stakeholders in a dynamic, international tech environment. 3+ years PQE is expected.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practise in Singapore.
• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification legal experience.
• Experience handling commercial contracts and technology-related legal matters.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing, digital platforms, data privacy, cybersecurity and ecommerce regulations.

Responsibilities

• Advise internal stakeholders on a broad range of commercial and legal matters relating to cloud technology services.
• Draft, review and negotiate customer, vendor and strategic partnership agreements.
• Support legal aspects of digital platform operations, online terms, customer agreements and privacy documentation.
• Provide practical legal guidance on regulatory, data protection, cybersecurity and e-commerce matters.
• Monitor legislative developments and assess potential business impacts and compliance requirements.
• Lead dispute management matters and provide recommendations to strengthen risk controls and governance frameworks.
• Deliver legal training and awareness programmes while supporting corporate governance and policy initiatives.
