Qualifications

Overview

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Operations and liaising closely with the regional legal team, the successful candidate will be the sole legal professional in Singapore, providing end-to-end legal support for trading operations, international contracts, cross-border investments, and compliance matters. This role involves regular interaction with overseas offices and may require travel across the region.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of legal experience in large corporations or reputable law firms, ideally with exposure to commodity trading or cross-border M&A.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field; admission to practice in at least one jurisdiction (e.g., Singapore, Hong Kong, UK, or US).
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) to liaise with regional stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade, corporate law, and cross-border regulatory requirements.
  • High energy, self-motivated, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and willing to travel internationally.
  • Meticulous, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating across teams.
