Job description

On behalf of our client, a fast-growing international gaming company, we are seeking an experienced and business-minded Legal Counsel to join their Singapore office. This role will provide direct legal support to the regional business and collaborate closely with both Singapore and China teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including licensing, publishing, IP, vendor, and partnership contracts.
  • Advise management and business teams on corporate, commercial, employment, and compliance matters.
  • Support product launches, marketing campaigns, and cross-border business initiatives with legal guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore laws, data protection requirements, and intellectual property rights.
  • Liaise with external counsel when required.
  • Develop internal templates, policies, and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • LL.B. from a recognised university; admitted to the Singapore Bar (preferred) or other common law jurisdiction.
  • 3–6 years of relevant PQE in law firms and/or in-house roles, with prior experience in gaming, technology, or entertainment sectors preferred.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written), able to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders in China.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to provide practical, business-oriented advice.
  • Independent, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
