Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop in-depth understanding regarding the compliance, legal and risk management associated with the Group’s business operation.
  • Draft and review the Group’s business processes and ensure compliance and all risks exposures are identified, evaluated, mitigated and updated appropriately on an ongoing basis.
  • Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and review of contracts to ensure the organisation’s interests are protected.
  • Provide timely and accurate legal advice on a broad range of matters, including contracts, intellectual property, NDAs, MOUs, claims etc, as to support the Group’s operation teams.
  • Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulatory environments; ensure the organisation’s policies and procedures remain up to date and compliant.
  • Develop and deliver training programmes to promote compliance awareness and understanding of relevant legal obligations.
  • Lead internal investigations into potential compliance breaches and report findings to senior management and relevant authorities as necessary.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external legal counsel, regulators, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities and legal documentation.
  • Other administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or other related legal qualifications preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in contract management, commercial law, or corporate legal roles preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of local laws, regulations, and best practices relevant to the industry.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly ethical, discreet, and able to maintain confidentiality.
