Job summary

Government Technology Agency (GovTech) invites applications for an academic position within the School of Mathematical Sciences & Analytics. The role focuses on teaching Technology and Analytics topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Visualisation, and Quantum Computing, with additional duties in Mathematics, Statistics, or Programming.

You will contribute to curriculum development, module design, and interdisciplinary courses while engaging in project work

Responsibilities

• Teach in Technology and Analytics domains, including AI, Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Visualisation, and Quantum Computing.
• Develop and review course materials and assessments to enhance student learning and employability.
• Stay current with trends in AI, Data Science, Analytics, and Quantum Computing to keep the curriculum relevant.
• Undertake project and consultancy work with internal and external stakeholders, applying expertise in real-world contexts.

What you will be working on

As a lecturer in the School of Mathematical Sciences & Analytics, you will be primarily responsible for teaching in the domain of Technology and Analytics, with a focus on areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Visualisation, and Quantum Computing. You will also be expected to teach in at least one complementary area such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Programming. In line with SP's Common Core Curriculum, you will also be expected to teach at least one interdisciplinary module, which may include: Data Fluency Artificial Intelligence & Its Impact Persuasive Communication with Data Storytelling Problem Solving with Creative and Computational Thinking Beyond the classroom, you will play an active role in shaping and evolving the curriculum. This includes: Developing and reviewing course materials and assessments to enhance student learning, performance, and employability Staying current with trends and developments in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Visualisation, and Quantum Computing to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and up to date Undertaking project and consultancy work with internal and external stakeholders, applying your expertise in real-world contexts.
