Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in a related field from a reputable university.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong teaching record at undergraduate and/or graduate levels.
• Research/teaching experience in Robot Vision, Perception, Mobile Navigation, Manufacturing Automation, and Industrial AI.
• Hands-on with hardware (e.g., soldering) and software development using ROS, MATLAB, C++, and AI tools.

Job description

Successful candidates are expected to teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels, supervise graduate students and undergraduate projects as well as engage in curriculum development and course administration. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to translate industry experience in their teaching to provide students with a holistic education experience as well as the versatility to teach multiple courses.

• Possess relevant Bachelor and PhD degrees from reputable universities.
• Industry experience with a passion for education would be advantageous.
• An excellent teaching record at either undergraduate or graduate levels.
• Research and/or teaching experience should encompass areas of Robot Vision, Perception, Mobile Navigation, Manufacturing Automation and Industrial AI.
• Seeking a hands‑on academic who is equally adept at practical hardware work (e.g., using a wrench and soldering iron) and software development using tools such as ROS (Robot Operating System), MATLAB, C++ and AI Tools.
