Job summary

The Public Service Division seeks a Lecturer to contribute beyond teaching, recognising students' potential and lifelong learning needs. You will engage in industry projects and maintain strong links with industry and schools, including opportunities for industry attachments to update skills and practices.

Applicants with relevant security system experience and the ability to train end users are preferred; potential for senior roles with leadership development exists.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in electronics security.
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++ on Windows, Linux or mobile platforms.
• Experience with video surveillance, access control and intrusion detection.
• Experience with video analytics using ML/DL technologies.
• Familiarity with networking, TCP/IP and cybersecurity practices.
• Ability to provide theory and practical hands‑on training of security system products.
• Certifications and experience in deploying automation solutions for security systems will be an added advantage.
