Job summary

Nanyang Polytechnic seeks a skilled educator to design and deliver rigorous motion branding, motion graphics and visual storytelling courses. The role focuses on industry-relevant teaching, curriculum development and student mentoring to strengthen employability.

You will lead live briefs, client projects and industry collaborations, while advancing research in emerging creative practices. CET initiatives and programme administration support are also part of the remit.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of professional experience in motion design, motion graphics or related field.
• Experience in leading creative agencies, studios or brands is advantageous.
• Strong command of motion design principles, visual storytelling, typography, colour and art direction.
• Ability to maintain high visual standards across digital, physical and experiential touchpoints.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Cinema 4D, Blender and Figma.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• Teaching or mentoring experience at tertiary or adult-education level is advantageous.
• Desirable areas: Motion branding, 2D/3D design, video production, immersive media and generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver lectures, tutorials, studio-based lessons and workshops.
• Develop and enhance curriculum, learning resources and assessment strategies.
• Mentor students on performance, portfolios and career pathways.
• Lead industry-integrated learning through live briefs and client projects.
• Build relationships with agencies, studios and partners to support employability.
• Support CET initiatives and school-wide administration.
• Contribute to research and capability development in motion design.
