The Institute of Technical Education in Singapore is seeking a Lecturer who will contribute to teaching and nurturing students’ potential. This role involves carrying out industry projects and guiding learners in applying current infrastructure practices through practical activities.
Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT, along with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience. Passion for teaching and good communication skills are essential.
As a Lecturer, your contributions go beyond teaching and facilitating learning. You will play a critical role in recognizing and nurturing your students’ potential and supporting their lifelong learning needs.
In addition to your teaching duties, you will carry out industry or consultancy projects to remain current in your profession and keep pace with evolving industry needs. You will maintain strong linkages with industry partners and schools, and may undertake industry attachments regularly to update your skills, knowledge and professional practices.
You will also guide learners in applying current infrastructure practices (e.g. automation, hybrid environments, operational monitoring) through authentic lab work, capstone projects, and applied learning activities.
You should be trained in Computer Science/Engineering or Information Technology, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in related industry.
