Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking a Lecturer who will contribute to teaching and facilitating learning while recognising students’ potential and lifelong learning needs. In addition to teaching, you will undertake industry or consultancy projects to keep your practice relevant and strengthen ties with industry and schools.

You should have at least 3 years of relevant experience with individuals with special needs or disabilities.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience working with individuals with special needs or disabilities.
• Experience as a Job Coach, Special Needs Teacher, Learning Support Educator, or in vocational, educational, or employment support services for persons with special needs is advantageous.
• This role is open for full-time employment only.
• Senior Lecturer or equivalent positions with career development opportunities may be available.

Responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate learning activities for students.
• Recognise and nurture students’ potential and lifelong learning needs.
• Carry out industry or consultancy projects to stay current with industry changes.
• Maintain strong linkages with industry and schools.
