Job summary

The Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the Business discipline within the School of Business (SBIZ). Candidates should demonstrate research and teaching potential across entrepreneurship, strategy and innovation, management, and operations analytics.

The role includes teaching, course development, research activities, and engagement with industry and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree holder in a relevant discipline. Ph.D applicants nearing completion will also be considered.
• Applicants with teaching and/or working experience in the relevant areas will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• The responsibilities of SBIZ full-time faculty members include teaching, managing and developing courses, conducting academic and/or applied research, and being involved in activities in the service of SUSS and also outside of SUSS that may include outreach to industry and also involvement in industry projects.

What You Will Be Doing

We are interested in applicants in the Business discipline who have displayed track record or potential for research and teaching, commensurate with the rank applied for. Preference will be given to applicants whose research or teaching expertise cover at least two of the following areas: (a) entrepreneurship, strategy, and innovation, (b) management, and (c) operations analytics. The capability to teach basic statistics and the motivation to explore other software-based courses are valued.
