Job summary

SIM-RMIT invites applications for an adjunct lecturer to teach corporate finance theory. The course surveys mergers and acquisitions, capital structure theories, dividend policy, taxation, real options and corporate governance, with emphasis on contemporary issues in the field.

The selected candidate will conduct a weekly 3-hour lecture for 9 weeks, manage sizeable classes, grade assessments, and provide timely feedback.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or professional qualification in the relevant discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level would be a plus.
• Must be able to conduct a weekly 3-hour lecture for 9 weeks.
• Must be available to teach during weekdays or Saturdays 8:30AM–6:30PM or evenings 7PM–10PM.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a weekly 3-hour lecture for 9 weeks.
• Manage sizeable class and grade assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback to students within deadlines.
• Work closely with the course coordinator.
