Role Overview
The Learning Manager is the academic and learner experience anchor across both TSMC and FMPMS. This role oversees academic operations, learner experience, faculty management, LMS/service delivery, and academic operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and a professional student experience across both brands.
You will work closely with the General Manager to design, operationalise, and deliver the curriculum and service frameworks across TSMC/FMPMS programmes and markets.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Operations (TSMC & FMPMS)
- Lead term scheduling, lecturer deployment, and resource planning.
- Oversee LMS operations, e-learning delivery quality, and student lifecycle communications.
- Ensure smooth delivery of classes, assessments, examinations, reviews, and graduation processes.
- Maintain student, faculty, and academic records in full compliance with PEI/ERF/EduTrust requirements.
- Support the General Manager in preparing data for EduTrust/ERF filings.
Curriculum & Courseware Development
Work with the Course Manager and/or relevant faculty to:
- Co-develop, review, regularise, and maintain new and existing courseware
- Ensure curriculum alignment with industry relevance and academic standards
- Manage iterative improvements based on student and faculty feedback.
- Monitor adherence to courseware and academic plans by faculty during delivery.
- Coordinate with Principal and/or Academic Board as needed.
Learner Experience & Student Support
- Design and implement consistent learner touchpoints across TSMC & FMPMS.
- Oversee onboarding, orientation, attendance processes, and communication rhythms.
- Oversee student attrition, deferment, and academic intervention processes.
- Collect and track learner satisfaction and intervention metrics.
- Coordinate welfare, pastoral care escalation, and student concerns.
Faculty Management & Quality Assurance
- Oversee adjunct faculty recruitment, onboarding, timetabling, and training.
- Implement structured faculty feedback processes and performance observations.
- Work with Course Manager to ensure content accuracy and delivery quality.
Assessment & Exam Administration (TSMC)
- Manage assessment timelines, logistics, delivery and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to assessment policies, academic integrity, and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with Course Manager and/or Examination Board as needed.
Policies, Systems & Process Development
- Review and refine academic operations SOPs (attendance, assessment, timetabling, student support).
- Ensure alignment with regulatory policies for SSG, ERF, and EduTrust.
- Drive process efficiency and cross-department coordination with Commercial and Administration teams.
Cross-Brand Integration & New Programme Launches
- Support development and delivery of new TSMC and FMPMS programmes.
- Oversee delivery readiness for new programmes (faculty, rooms, logistics, curriculum).
- Ensure consistent integration of student services across both brands.
Any other business
- Support in any other business activities as required.
- This role will be expected to provide executional support in any of the above domains, if required.
Requirements
- 3-5 years in academic operations or programme management (PEI or training provider preferred).
- Strong grasp of learner administration, scheduling, assessment workflows, and records management.
- Experience in faculty coordination or curriculum review is a strong advantage.
- Strong organisational discipline with excellent attention to detail.
- Familiarity with SSG, ERF, EduTrust frameworks preferred (not mandatory but advantageous).
- Comfortable working with creative professionals and multiple stakeholders.
