Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Learning and Development Manager to join our Human Resources Department. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the Bank’s training strategy, enhancing employee skills, and fostering a positive organisational culture through learning, development, and engagement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our workforce within a leading international bank.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in formulating and implementing the Bank’s learning and development strategy to meet organisational and employee development needs.
  • Plan, coordinate and administer local and Head Office training programmes in collaboration with internal and external trainers.
  • Manage the annual training budget to ensure effective utilisation of resources and compliance with budgetary limits.
  • Conduct post-training evaluations and prepare analysis and reports on training effectiveness.
  • Generate and maintain regular training statistics and management reports.
  • Plan and organise employee engagement and cultural development activities to promote a positive work culture and strengthen staff cohesion.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for all learning development and engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or relevant professional qualification.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in learning and development preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Independent, resourceful and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese so as to liaise with Chinese-speaking counterparts.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
