Job summary

Lonza Singapore is seeking a skilled Validation Engineer to ensure that our manufacturing facilities, systems, and equipment meet the highest quality and compliance standards in a GMP biotech environment. You will contribute to the safe and reliable manufacture of life-changing medicines and collaborate across engineering, quality, and operations teams.

• A bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or a related field.
• Experience or exposure to validation activities in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of regulatory expectations and validation principles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, quality, and operations teams.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive mindset with attention to detail and quality.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a regulated biotech environment.

Responsibilities

• Support validation activities for facilities, equipment, utilities, computer systems, cleaning, and sterilization.
• Develop and execute validation protocols and reports in line with approved procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and end users to deliver validation activities as planned.
• Support commissioning activities and site change implementations when required.
• Review engineering documentation related to commissioning and validation activities.
• Participate in site validation maintenance programs and inspection readiness activities.
• Uphold data integrity principles and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
