Job summary

General Assembly Singapore is seeking a lead instructor for our part-time (24 week) User Experience Bootcamp. The role requires cross‑functional UX experience and leadership on our growing instructional team, delivering live instruction, workshops, and hands‑on projects.

The position is based in Singapore, delivered in a hybrid format (campus and online). Candidates must reside in Singapore with eligible work status; GA is not sponsoring at this time.

Qualifications

• You are eager to shape the skills, minds, and journeys of the newest generation of user experience designers.
• You are the person that your colleagues naturally gravitate to when they need guidance.
• You have 3–5 years of UX design experience on a product team.
• You are fluent in UX topics including UX process, research, usability testing, IA, interface design, prototyping, analytics, and mobile UX; knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
• You have at least 2 years of professional Figma experience including components, design systems, and high‑fidelity prototyping; familiarity with real‑time collaboration and developer handoff.

Responsibilities

• Spend 17 hours a week teaching and 3 hours of office hours; classes on Tue/Thu evenings and Sat; remote/onsite mix.
• Prepare lessons and materials leveraging GA curriculum content.
• Provide timely feedback with assessment rubrics in collaboration with instructors and TAs.
• Work with GA staff to address diverse learning styles and student needs.
• Guide students through capstone projects to showcase abilities to hiring managers.
• Foster a dynamic, supportive classroom community and inspire perseverance through challenges.
