Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is hiring a Senior Student Care Teacher / Lead Teacher to supervise primary school learners at its Choa Chu Kang centre.

You will guide learners in daily homework, spelling, revision and schoolwork, while establishing positive classroom routines. Key duties include mentoring junior staff, providing feedback to parents, and collaborating with the Centre Principal on programme quality and learner development.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working as a Student Care Teacher, preferably in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong experience managing and teaching primary school children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise primary school learners.
• Guide learners in daily homework completion, corrections, spelling, revision and schoolwork.
• Provide academic support in English language, Mathematics, Science and other primary-level subjects where required.
• Manage classroom behaviour using positive, respectful and with consistent guidance.
• Understand individual learners’ personalities, learning needs and areas for improvement.
• Build relationships with learners and create a (good) environment.
• Monitor learners’ academic progress, behaviour and overall development.
• Provide meaningful feedback and updates to parents.
• Plan and conduct enrichment, holiday and experiential learning activities.
• Support lesson preparation, worksheets and teaching resources.
• Take the lead in establishing good classroom routines and teaching practices.
• Mentor or guide junior student care teachers where required.
• Work closely with the Centre Principal and management team on centre operations, learner development and programme quality.
