Job summary

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Fellow in Theoretical Quantum Physics at the Centre for Quantum Technologies, in the Valerio Scarani Group, Kent Ridge Campus. The appointee will lead an original research project and coordinate students and collaborators.

Starting April 2027, the two-year position seeks a Ph.D. in Physics with a strong record of publications, teaching experience, and outstanding communication and writing skills.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Physics.
• Record of peer-reviewed publications in a relevant field.
• Proved capacity of working with several co-workers.
• Experience of teaching and/or follow-up of younger students’ projects in a university context.
• Strong communication skills and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading a research project in theoretical quantum science or information.
