Job summary

Kelogg Brown & Root Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. seeks a senior Telecommunications Design Lead with 15+ years in oil and gas.

You will manage a team of designers, oversee all telecom design activities, and perform hands-on 3D/2D work using AVEVA E3D, PDMS, and SP3D. Strong coordination with interfaces and clients is required for brownfield and greenfield projects. Experience with equipment layouts, cable routing, and MTO generation is essential, as is ability to conduct 3D model reviews and optimize

Qualifications

At least 15 years experience in Telecommunications Engineering in Oil & Gas including greenfield and brownfield design.
Telecommunications background and ability to lead design activities.

Responsibilities

Manage a team of designers and coach, plan and monitor design activities.
Supervise all Telecoms design aspects and perform 2D/3D design work hands-on.
Be responsible and accountable for all design activities.
Perform 3D modelling of equipment, supports, trays and 3D cable routing using E3D / S3D, including setup and clash resolution.
Extract drawings/docs from 3D model such as equipment layouts, antenna GA, MTO, and cable schedule.
Produce MTO for Telecoms materials (cables, glands, supports).
Provide solutions and resolve comments related to design.
Develop 3D cable routing and circuit layouts.
