Overview

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and shepherd projects through the entire project lifecycle, including managing project schedules, identifying risks, and communicating them clearly to project stakeholders. You explain analyses and recommendations to executives and discuss technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership experience, you manage Engineering-specific programs and teams. The AI and Infrastructure team empowers Google customers with breakthrough capabilities and insights by delivering AI and Infrastructure at scale, efficiency, reliability and velocity. Our customers include Googlers, Google Cloud customers, and billions of Google users worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute network infrastructure and capacity plans for the Asia Pacific Region, aligning with Google’s network roadmap and business goals.
  • Identify and drive initiatives to optimize the network for scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Utilize data analysis and modeling to forecast future demands and identify areas for optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across functions, including Network Engineering, Product Management, and Network Architecture. Identify tests and opportunities within the network infrastructure to develop solutions.
  • Maintain technical expertise by staying up-to-date with the latest network technologies and industry trends.
  • Articulate planning strategies, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
