We are seeking a detail‑oriented, proactive, and results‑focused Lead Sourcing Specialist to manage and enhance sourcing and procurement operations. This role is essential in overseeing supplier relationships, optimizing costs, facilitating contract negotiations, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials.

Job Description
Sourcing & Procurement Operations
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that balance cost‑effectiveness with product quality.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with new and existing suppliers.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring performance and compliance.
  • Manage CAPEX sourcing, including equipment, tooling, facilities, and infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align procurement timelines and project requirements.
  • Oversee bidding processes, contract negotiation, and finalization for capital projects and services.
  • Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure sourcing supports new product launches efficiently and cost‑effectively.
  • Manage RFQ processes, supplier selection, and procurement readiness for production ramp‑up.
  • Implement and monitor Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs to enhance supply continuity and reduce holding costs.
  • Evaluate supply chain constraints and negotiate improved lead times through forecasting and capacity planning.
  • Oversee procurement activities including RFQs, purchase orders and contract execution.
  • Conduct market research and assessments to inform procurement actions.
  • Balance material availability with inventory optimization.
Team Management & Process Improvement
  • Train and mentor team members on procurement best practices and company policies.
  • Support initiatives aimed at supply chain improvement and sustainability.
  • Coordinate on ERP implementations and upgrades, focusing on procurement automation and standardization.
Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on key performance indicators, including safety, quality, delivery, cost, supplier performance, and risk mitigation.
Cross‑Functional Coordination
  • Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Materials, Quality, Finance, and other departments to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
