CAPGEMINI SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to build and support a large-scale national trade platform in Singapore. You will contribute to design, development, and operation of highly available, secure, and scalable systems with cross-functional teams.

You will tackle complex technical challenges, own critical services, and deliver impactful outcomes while mentoring peers and collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Significant software engineering experience with enterprise-scale or high-transaction systems.
• Strong fundamentals in design, testing, CI/CD, observability, and security, with cloud deployment experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support software products and platform capabilities.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead software delivery from design to production, including testing and deployment.
• Troubleshoot issues and participate in incident response and recovery activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support software products and platform capabilities
• Translate complex business and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions

Requirements

Technical Skills & Experience

• Degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Significant experience in software engineering, preferably involving complex, enterprise‑scale, or high‑transaction systems
• Strong software engineering fundamentals across the development lifecycle, including: Software design and architecture; Automated testing; CI/CD practices; Observability and monitoring; Application security
• Experience deploying and operating applications in cloud environments
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies
