Job summary

Grab Lead Engineer role in the FLIP team focuses on developing the framework powering our backend services. You will identify opportunities to optimise the Software Development Lifecycle, lead technical projects, and shape the next generation of microservices for Grab.

Based at the Singapore office, you will report to the Senior Engineering Manager and mentor junior engineers while driving architectural decisions and ensuring rigorous code reviews to uphold engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical projects and delivering on roadmaps.
• Strong background in Go and building framework/libraries.
• Experience in code reviews and driving engineering excellence.
• Ability to mentor engineers and foster learning.
• Ability to contribute to architecture decisions and tech roadmaps.

As a Lead Engineer in the Frameworks, Libraries, Primitives team (FLIP) you develop the framework that powers our backend services. You will identify opportunities to optimise our Software Development Lifecycle, lead technical projects, and shape the next generation of microservices for Grab.

Our team operates across three locations in South East Asia. You will work from our Singapore office, and you will report to the Senior Engineering Manager based in the same location.
