Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer within the Infrastructure Platforms. You will lead a high-impact team, drive resiliency design reviews, and mentor engineers across multiple domains to improve service reliability and performance.

You will own incident response for major outages, communicate with stakeholders, and champion AI-assisted reliability workflows to accelerate triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, data science, or related field.
• Formal training or certification on site reliability engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Deep proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance, security, and enterprise system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Champions site reliability culture and practices and exerts technical influence across the team.
• Leads initiatives to improve reliability and stability using data-driven analytics to improve service levels.
• Collaborates to define service level indicators and establish SLOs with customers.
• Demonstrates deep technical expertise and resolves bottlenecks in core domains.
• Acts as primary incident contact to quickly identify and resolve issues and minimize financial impact.
• Documents and shares knowledge through internal forums and communities.
• Leads AI-enabled reliability workflows across the SDLC and toolchain with traceability and security controls.
